Tools in My Toolbox

September 30, 2005

Recently a dear Shaumbra friend in Canada asked me why I don’t have the tools that I sometimes share in emails described on my website. You know, I had to stop for a moment and actually think about it.

For me, talking about the tools I use in my personal life is somewhat like what’s it’s been like with Tobias telling us how to do conscious breathing over the last couple of months. It’s all so simple and yet there’s a depth and intensity to it all that’s beyond mere words. It’s so much a part of who I am that I can’t imagine that it was ever not part of my life.

Anyway, he got me thinking and I decided to sit down and try and put some words together to describe the tools that I use from my toolbox, tools that help to keep me balanced in Me during these wild and crazy times. Perhaps you might find them interesting and useful for yourself.

About seven years ago I was introduced to a type of energy work that’s called “Access Energy for Transformation”. Here’s how it’s described on the website www.accessraz.com :

Access is a set of tools and processes that allows you to remove the limitations that shackle and chain you in life. There is nothing like it anywhere. It's the weirdest, funniest way you'll ever find to get what you'd really like out of life.

Access is a constantly-changing, ever-evolving method for altering the parts of your life that don't show up the way you know they should or could.

Access is NOT for the feeble-minded or the faint of heart. If you have the courage and desire to be truly you - the extraordinary you - then maybe Access is for you.”

The tools I reach for first in my life when I find myself in need of knowing assistance of any kind are primarily from this methodology. It has literally saved my butt more times than I can count being able to reach in and grab one of these tools for myself, to then find clarity and sanity during the many bizarre experiences that I’ve brought myself over the course of this ascension journey.

The first tool is: How does it get any better than this? - No matter if something is labelled "good" or "bad", when you ask how it can get better, then that's what you get! I automatically say this when I get money unexpectedly or have some great synchronous thing happen. I then stand back and see what other magical things happen. It's great fun! This is also really good when you’ve been experiencing some tough times and seem to be on a roll in a negative direction. This simple phrase can just that quickly turn the tide.

And with turning the tide I sometimes I use: What's right about this that I'm not getting? - This is the invitation to knowing and brings in some clarity, especially when I am not seeing the truth of what’s happening in a particular situation. You are essentially asking for clarity, inviting in clarity to assist you with what’s going on in a particular situation. This is very much like the energy that occurs when you ask for the “root energy” of anything and then ask for clarity as described in a recent shoud.

My personal favourite tool lately is: “Body, what would it take to give ourselves permission to _______________ ?" More and more I'm involving my body in my decision making process because it knows a whole lot more than I do ;-) If you don’t believe me, just try this for a few days with any situation in your life. Listen to what your body has to share with you. Breathe!

You can also say, “Body, what do you know about _______ that I don’t know and can be revealed to me at this time?”

The next tool is: Interesting point of view. Or, isn't that or this interesting. - This is the phrase that instantly puts you in a neutral place when dealing with people. They say something that could be a trigger for confrontation or polarity and it's just an interesting point of view... ho hum. This is a fabulous way to suddenly and easily get yourself out of a polarity place and back over the short wall, too.

A really big tool for me throughout my personal journey was: “Who does this belong to? Where is this coming from?” Probably the biggest area of learning in the ascension process is that of discernment for ourselves. When the decision is made to explore ascension it seems like the floodgates open and suddenly we are besieged with information in all forms, frequencies and vibrations.

If it weren’t bad enough that there’s suddenly an abundance of stuff to read and digest, we are surrounded with all sorts of new energies; thoughts, feelings and emotions that seem like they were just waiting for the go signal to come and jump on you. Like your sensitivity level has just shot off the charts!

On the road to masterhood lies the process of learning what is truly your own stuff to work on and what is not. We are incredibly empathic in our bodies and bodies like to talk to other bodies and mimic what is going on. Perhaps it’s a survival thing or something. If your body is just like everyone else’s and is an energetic match for the bodies around you, then you won’t be singled out of the herd in any way.

Yet, ascension is about learning who we are as divine, individual, sovereign beings and owning that, living that and being that in the physical. So the process of separating out our “stuff” from that coming from others is a very big part of this.

Under this tool is a sub-tool called: If it’s light, it’s right. This tool really involves the body again in a big way. The body is the truest discerner of what’s true for you than your mind can ever be. The mind can be the ultimate trickster while the body remains detached and grounded.

So, how do you use this tool? Say you are in a situation where you have been told that there is something physically wrong with your body, like you’ve been told that you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for example. In that space, that instant, feel the way your body might suddenly become heavy and you are then experiencing great sadness, weariness and so on. I use this example because there is a preponderance of this diagnosis being put out there now and way too many people are owning it. The many symptoms of Chronic Fatigue are also those that come with the ascension process, with the opening to your divine self. I won’t go into those at this time as there is a lot of good information that is available on the internet about the ascension symptoms. Before you own any medical condition I highly recommend that you check out the many ascension symptoms.

What has just happened with your diagnosis, as illustrated by the sudden feelings in the body, is that the body has taken on the “label” and all the resultant energies associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It has now “owned” these energies. You can feel it in the heaviness that there’s a lot of energy attached to it. It’s like you’ve gone out and put on the heaviest winter coat you can possibly find and now you’re going to walk around wearing that coat for the rest of your life!

BUT, what if that label is not true at all? What then? How do you even discover if it’s true for you or not?

This is where that fabulous body relationship comes into play. Sit with yourself for a nowment (that’s a divine moment in the now, by the way) and simply allow yourself to feel that energy of the Chronic Fatigue, or anything else that you may be in doubt or have concerns about medically. Feel how your body feels and how your spirit feels in relation to this. Sink in to that label for yourself and your body and live there for a brief time. Then simply ask:

“Body, is this true for us?”  or

“Who does this belong to? Where is this coming from?”

And voila! If your body suddenly feels light, if you’ve somehow magically thrown off that heavy coat, then you will know in that instance that that label, that diagnosis is not true for you. And as you play with this tool, get a real good barometer of the difference in feelings in your body of what is truth for you and what is not. And then give yourself kudos and deeply acknowledge that you have discerned what it truly appropriate for you rather than believing what someone has given to you. An ascending body is not like everyone else's and what applies to someone else is generally not appropriate for you any longer. Getting to know your body and what is true and appropriate for you is also essential in this ascension process.

Another example is depression or anger that you may be feeling at any given moment, feeling unworthy or hating yourself, especially if you’re out running errands or something and find yourself around other people. Heck, you can even pick this one up by watching television or reading the newspaper!

There is a huge amount of this type of energy expression floating around out there in the ethers right now and it’s very easy to pick this up and take it home as your own. And again, when you are experiencing a thought, feeling or emotion that is uncomfortable, or even one that you’d simply rather not be feeling at all, then simply ask your body if it belongs to you.

With some practice you will get really good at this type of discernment and will easily come to know it’s not out of the question that at least 98% of the thoughts, feelings and emotions that you experience, especially those of a negative connotation, DO NOT BELONG TO YOU!!!

I am damn serious about this and I speak from experience as one who has travelled to the very depths of having to feel it all as I tried to figure it all out for myself. When you get really good at the discerning of all the stuff around you, the body will more quickly let you know when there’s something coming through that it doesn’t like and wants to let go of at that time. After a while it becomes automatic to simply move the energies on through without having to experience them and you can then begin to experience a life of ease, joy, glory, bliss and ecstasy; the natural expression of your soul.

For the truly brave, go for three days of saying, “Who does this belong to? Where is this coming from?” and at the end of that time you won’t have a single thought in your head!!! Yes, that’s how much stuff comes to us in these empathic bodies. We live in bodies that are like a giant radio receiver that’s always turned on. It’s no wonder we pick up everything that’s floating around out there!

What I’ve found for myself is that when I’m having an energy coming at me, through me, or around me that is trying to stick to me, then my body makes darned sure that I become aware that it’s there, that it’s stuck for whatever reason and it would like this energy moved along. My body will at times bring me the feeling of nausea, dizziness or something along those lines to let me know that something’s up. I then pull out my toolbox and reach inside for the discernment tools and go to work, if I so choose. Remember, this life is about experience and there are times when I do wish to explore what I am perceiving. Perhaps there is a message in the feeling, thoughts and emotions for me that can help me with someone I’m working with or perhaps it will help me to understand that other person in greater depth. The key here is that you can choose to experience those energies or not.

Much of this personal work is now automatic and I don’t have much outward awareness that I’m actually using the tools when I’m moving the energy. If there’s something that my body feels I should pay attention to, then it simply lets me know. Otherwise, this comes back to the feelings about describing the conscious breathing. How do you describe to someone how to breathe when it’s something that’s done so automatically? Just do it?!

I hope that these tools are of some assistance. As we more and more embody the masters that we truly are, then fully bringing in the body to the equation and teamwork of mind/body/spirit is essential. It’s also fun to get to know the body and all that it brings to the table as far as knowing and awareness. I’m still amazed at how much more my body knows than I do in any given situation! It’s like having a whole consulting team on my side.

How does it get any better than this?!
